Aangan is an NGO that promotes safe communities for children in high-risk situations, eg. isolation, neglect, violence, hazardous work etc. The organization was founded in 2002 and has a presence in 5 Indian states.
To build awareness among the general public about Aangan’s work
Recommended Strategic Shift in Communication:
• From ‘What we do’ To ‘What do we stand for’
• Positioned Aangan as a holistic CHILD PROTECTION ORGANIZATION
• Devised a creative tagline that represented the new strategic platform:‘Every child has the right to feel safe. Everyday. Everywhere.’
We made a Public Service Announcement for Aangan called ‘Are You Listening?’. The film clearly explained the strategy that we had devised and was in keeping with the positioning and tagline recommended. It also showcased stories and laws so that people can connect both emotionally and know the laws. It was aimed to create a call for action: Act Now. The film was linked to Aangan’s website for longer engagement with audience.
Mobilized pro-bono media time to air 60-sec film edits on national television network NDTV24X7.
